Bill began his flying career by obtaining his Private Pilot license at the age of 19. Eventually this love of flying would lead him to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, as well as Flight Instructor ratings, a Commercial Helicopter license, and over 6,000 hours in the air.
In the early 1970's, Bill began to combine his love of photography with his flying skills, and has accumulated over 30 years of experience photographing homes, commercial properties, even the Tall Ships and America's Cup races. His work has been published in Yankee, Flying, Heart of New Hampshire and other prestigious publications. Bill's aerial images also appear often in the Laconia Citizen, Concord Monitor and are used extensively on many Chamber of Commerce web sites, as well as local travel and promotional brochures. Recently many of his images were published in the coffee table book "The Lakes Region: Four Seasons, Countless Memories".
Bill specializes only in aerial photography and, with thousands of hours in the air, is uniquely qualified to properly position the aircraft for the best view of a home or property. (Bill always flys with a safety pilot from Emerson Aviation, so that he can then devote his full attention to getting the very best shot.) Having retired to the Lakes Region, he now employs the latest in image stabilized high resolution digital photography equipment and image editing software to bring us crisp, colorful bird's eye views of the exquisite Lakes Region and beyond.
* (OK, He actually has done a few aerial wedding portraits!)
